Privacy
For the MyLifeCrew beta. Last updated October 2026. We'll update it before the app is public.
What we keep
- Your account: the email or Apple ID you sign in with (Apple may give us a private relay address), and the name you choose.
- Your profile: the face you build (a small drawing description, not a photo), the line about you, and which AI coach greets you. A photo you use to start a face is read on your phone and never uploaded.
- Your coach: if you train with a coach 1:1, that you do, how (in person or online), the program they build you, and the messages between you.
- Your crew: which crew you're in, your lines in its thread, the high fives you send, shared goals, plans and games, and the songs you add to its mixtape.
- Warm-Up Word: your guesses at each day's word, and whether you show on the all-crews board.
- Music: which songs and playlists you open from the app, unless you switch "Count my music in charts" off on your profile. Which music app you use stays on your phone.
- What you do: the sessions you start and finish, how they felt, the effort you log and the body areas, and the week you declare in a Season.
- Check-ins: which feeling you picked. Words you type to say how you feel are read on your phone; if it can't tell what you mean, they go to our server once to be matched to a feeling. We keep only the feeling, never your words. Chats with the AI coaches stay on your phone and aren't stored.
- Reports: anything you report, so it can be reviewed.
We don't read health data, your contacts or your location. There are no ads, we don't track you across other apps, and we don't sell anything about you.
Who sees what
- Your crew sees your name, face, last session, streak and the week you declared, and your lines in the crew's thread.
- Your crew's coach, if it has one, sees the same as your crew, except the thread, games, goals and plans.
- A coach you train with 1:1 sees the sessions you log and how they went, your answers to their questions, and your messages to them. Stop working together from My Day and they stop seeing it.
- The coaches see what members ask for and what helps, as totals. They may see your name when the app suggests they check in on you.
- Other crews see your first name, last initial and crew on the day's Warm-Up Word board, if you finish among the first ten. Switch that off on the game's board.
- Music charts show songs and how many people opened them, never who.
- Our operator sees totals, and reported content when it's reviewed.
Where it lives
On Supabase (database and sign-in), in the United States. Apple shares crash reports from TestFlight with us. When you add a song to your crew's mixtape, our server sends that song's link, and nothing about you, to song.link to find its name and the same song on other music apps. A coach's video is played from Mux, which sees your device and its internet address, as any video does, and nothing about your account or the session.
Deleting it
In the app: your profile, then Delete my account. Your account, log and lines in the thread go. A crew you started passes to whoever has been in it longest. Reports stay for review, without your name: one you filed, and one about a line of yours, which keeps the line as it read.
Ages
MyLifeCrew isn't for children under 13. In the beta, accounts are for adults.
